1. So to prepare thsi recipe you need first to heat oven 425 degrees .After that you need now to grease 13x9-inch (3-quart) glass baking dish with shortening . Now you need to remove just one pie crust from pouch; and after unroll on work surface.Then roll into 13x9-inch rectangle. And you need next to put crust in dish; trim edges to fit.
2. Now use a separate bowl ,And then stir corn syrup, brown sugar, butter, vanilla & also eggs with wire whisk. You need to stir in chopped pecans.
3. After you finished the last step , now take spoon 1/2 of filling into crust-lined dish. Then you need now to remove second pie crust from pouch; and again unroll .... Roll into 13x9-inch rectangle. Then put crust over filling; trim edges to fit. Spray crust with butter-flavor cooking spray.
4. Now at this step all what you need to do is to bake between 14 - 16 mins (till browned). Then make sure to reduce oven temperature to 350 degrees .
5. finally step , after all that work now you need to be careful and spoon remaining filling over baked pastry; and then arrange pecan halves on top . Again you need to bake for 30 mins longer or till set. Finally you need to cool about 20 mins on cooling rack. And serve warm with vanilla ice cream.
