The best buttermilk biscuits!
Directions

1. Measure flour and salt into bowl that has flour sprinkled in it.

2. Cut lard into flour until its crumbly (about pea size) I use a fork or spoon to do this.

3. Add buttermilk and using your floured hands, lightly mix until a soft dough forms. Sometimes you will have to add a bit more flour while mixing to keep it from being too sticky.

4. Don't roll dough out, (you can) but instead, pull off pieces of dough and roll it in your hands. like I saw my mother and memaw do it. Always use a round pan and grease it well ( I always use bacon grease)

5. Place biscuits touching each other and bake in 400 degree oven 15 to 20 minutes. makes about 6 to 7 biscuits. I brush melted butter on top. ENJOY!
